Jessica Jones is amazing




Jessica Jones is a super hero turned detective. She first appeared in Alias and continues to appear in New Avengers. Jessica Jones had a rough beginning but she has surpassed that all to become a mother and Power Woman (Luke Cage her husband thought it would be cute if they had matching names). She isn't like any other heroine that you've read, she is strong, loving, witty, doesn't take shit from anyone, a force to be reckoned with, and so much more but most of all she is the real reason why I began to love Marvel comics again. There isn't enough love for Jessica Jones so I'm going to try to do something about that. Anything Jessica Jones related will be reblogged or posted. I hope you fans with enjoy it, I'll do my best.

I must admit that I’m not qualified at all to be running this blog. I love Jessica but I’m not nearly as knowledgeable as most of you are.  I just jumped at the chance of running this blog.  I’m not going to pretend that I know everything about her but I’d like to think that I know enough.

I mean I want to write essays and fics about the awesomeness that is Jessica Jones.  But I can’t string together words as eloquently as the rest of you.  I mean I write fics but for other things.  Never tried my hand at writing fics for comics…

This isn’t about me but about her.  I must admit that I’m pretty sad that not that many people know of her or care about her.  Jessica Jones is pretty resilient and an amazing character.  I downloaded Alias online but found the paper trade backs in my LCS and bought them. I have all of New Avengers V1 and V2 mostly in hardcovers and some issues.  

I just want to create a masterpost about her with every single one of her appearances in comics.  For me and for everyone else but it seems that tumblr is deleting them so there that goes.

But I guess this is under constriction for the time being until I add more information and all that.  So please look forward to that.
